	SONG of&#38;nbsp; THE UNIVERSE

This is a mysterious journey. Guided by singing, the audience will enter the exhibition area. Upon wearing the VR headset, they awaken in a virtual cell as the last surviving human embryo, where they can begin to create memories. At the same time, in the real world, they will experience the sensation of being surrounded by suspended embryos. They will encounter visual, tactile, and auditory interactions between the two worlds. Ultimately, they will release their stress, find healing through art therapy, and embark on a new cosmic adventure.

	BACKGROUNDWhile immediate concerns may seem vexing, their significance diminishes when one extends the dimensions of time and space. Following an examination of VR experiences and traditional art therapy, I determined to leverage the advantages of both, and through an augmented array of sensory experiences, provide a solution from a more macro perspective for contemporary individuals seeking to break free from adversity.

	CHALLENGESThe primary technological challenge revolved around facilitating a multisensory interaction for users in VR, encompassing auditory guidance, visual drawing, and animation triggers. I successfully achieved this by modifying the open-source code of Open Brush in Unity.To enhance the tactile experience in VR, I experimented with various materials such as biological and woven materials to mirror the embryo in reality. Eventually, considering safety and the sensation of floating in space, I opted for a soft inflatable embryo installation.

In the early stages of life, the embryonic membrane forms the boundary between the body and the outside world. Inside, it becomes a space where energy is transferred. Caressed by the World uses a model to simulate the embryonic membrane, offering people an opportunity to reconnect with the world amid complex contemporary relationships — allowing space to accept emotions and, potentially, to be healed. Meanwhile, I have conducted a series of sensory experiments to explore this connection: the series of Sensory Diaries describes an intimate moment where the words become drawings in space,
representing the sounds, movements and sense of smell of the inhabitants in a shared
domestic scene at a given moment in time; the History records and compares my trajectory in the digital world and the physical world through the lens of browser history.

	THE PHOTONS
Video1:00 minutes1920*1080px2022This work records the photons’ romantic journey, and uses the law of conservation of matter in the universe to reveal the dynamic balance between people and society. If we emit a beam of light to the night sky, the photons will travel into the universe, they coexist, get absorbed, physically disappear, convert to zero-point energy, and so on. This is akin to the photons in one’s heart, although they are sometimes invisible physically, they still exist in another way.

	JET LAG CAPTURE PLAN
InstallationIron nails, water21*21*18 cm2020Jet Lag Capture Plan was inspired by an eastbound flight that gave the passenger the illusion of gaining a few hours due to jet lag. But in reality, we all know that time is the fairest thing in the world. Flying westward — we lose it. Penny wise, pound foolish. We may be hungry for time, but what truly matters is how we use the time we have.


I visualised the experience, gathered through interviews, in the form of hand-crafted watch faces illustrating the concept of gain and loss. Extending from this series is a spinning set of nails — a device that rotates to form the shape of a goblet trying to hold water. But the water splashes out, and the nails begin to rust.

If we lived in a world where jet lag could be used as currency, everything would get crazier. I created an animation to interpret humanity and class, influenced by the absurd drama. This story takes place in a fake country where jet lag is their currency, but every metaphor behind this absurdity can be found in the real world. The protagonist is a lion whose colours would change with his mood. We follow his perspective to experience the adventure in jet lag country, do you see a hero fighting against despair or a struggling soul?
